Led by Two Old Age Psychiatry Specialists
The practice is led by Dr Suman Ahmed and Dr Rehena Sultana, two experienced clinicians with a combined 25 years of dedicated experience in Old Age Psychiatry — including NHS consultant-level practice, specialty-level psychiatric practice, independent medico-legal assessments, Mental Health Act work, DoLS assessments, Court of Protection reporting, and complex capacity evaluations.
Our clinical work focuses on older adults, dementia, cognitive impairment, fluctuating capacity, vulnerability, psychiatric illness, and decision-specific mental capacity. We provide clear, evidence-based, clinically reasoned reports designed to assist legal professionals and the court in complex matters requiring psychiatric opinion.

We offer home visits and care-home assessments so that frail, vulnerable, or cognitively impaired clients can be assessed in an appropriate and familiar environment.

Independent & Non-Treatment Based
The practice should not be understood as a private psychiatric treatment clinic. We do not offer private psychiatric assessment for treatment purposes, treatment itself, prescribing, crisis assessment, therapy, or ongoing psychiatric follow-up.
